This mail is in regard to a ‘Summer Blood Challenge’ encouraging all Motorbike and Motor Scooter Riders and friends to donate blood and blood products which are vital for the Australian Red Cross Blood Bank when stocks run low over the summer holidays.

The Blood Challenge is a novel way of attracting increased donations of blood by means of a ‘Challenge’ between Police and Motorcyclists; this is already well established in Victoria and NSW, and for the first time, Tasmania have been invited to participate.
